IONIA. Teos. Circa 550 BC. Trihemiobol (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.72 g), light Samian standard. Forepart of a griffin to right. Rev. Incuse square punch. Matzke Group As3, 35 (this coin). Winterthur 3191. Very rare and beautifully toned. Struck on a somewhat short flan, otherwise, good very fine.
